Arriva is one of the UK’s leading transport operators, connecting communities every day. We are now looking for a highly motivated CCTV Engineer to join our London engineering team. This is a mobile role that will involve travelling between our depots to maintain and repair on bus CCTV systems. This role is ideal for someone with strong electrical and electronics knowledge who wants to apply their skills within a professional engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain CCTV system across all vehicles to the highest standard
- Carry out routine CCTV system inspections, servicing and preventative maintenance
- Installing, repairing and replacing CCTV system components
- Using diagnostic tools and software to identify faulty CCTV devices
- Ensuring all repairs support the safety, performance and reliability of the CCTV system
- Decommission CCTV systems off retired vehicles
- Working alongside colleagues within a collaborative environment
- Keeping up to date with new and emerging on bus CCTV systems
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical or Electronics engineering
- Good working knowledge of electrical and electronic principles
- Good working knowledge of IT Networking and components
- Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong diagnostic capabilities and confident working with wiring diagrams and schematics
- Experience using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment
- Full UK driving licence
- Reliable, proactive and able to work independently
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and teamwork ability
- CCTV systems training can be given to the right candidate if all other requirements are met
