We are hiring experienced and Trainee Bus Drivers in Yorkshire!
As a Bus Driver with Arriva, you will be at the heart of your community! Whether it is getting commuters to work, helping customers with popping to the shops or getting children to school – we provide an important service in connecting our customers to what matters to them. You will get to know the familiar faces on your routes, build relationships and even be the highlight of someone’s day. Did you know that Bus Drivers are one of the most thanked jobs in the UK? Competitive Pay Rates
Trainees:
£12.60 per hour – During training and mentoring (around 8 weeks).
£13.20 per hour – 6 months probation period.
£15.25 per hour – after successful probation completion.
Experienced PCV Drivers:
£13.20 per hour for the first 6 months of probation (*Must have 1 year of PCV experience in the last 5 years)
£15.25 after passing your probation (*Must have 1 year PCV experience to move to a higher rate)
Extra shifts available
Ongoing CPC training and paid PCV training if you’re a Trainee
Opportunities to progress into management or Driver Training

Free bus travel for you and household family members
Work Hours:
Rotating shifts, 5 out of 7 days, scheduled in advance
Mornings starting from 04:00, Afternoons start from 12:00 and Evenings from 18:00 on a rotational basis
Overtime available on request
Requirements:
Experienced Drivers: Hold a valid PCV license
Trainees: No license needed—we provide all training!
Have at least 6 months driving experience with no more than 6 points on your licence
Pass a drug/alcohol test, flexible for shifts, and customer service oriented.
