We're looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented ER Administrator to join our Employee Relations team, providing essential support across a wide range of people matters. The Role As an ER Administrator, you'll play a key role in supporting the effective delivery of employee relations processes across the business. Working closely with the Senior ER Business Partner, ER Business Partners, HR colleagues, and operational managers, you'll help ensure employee relations cases are managed efficiently, accurately, and in line with company policies and procedures. You'll be responsible for coordinating case administration, managing documentation, maintaining accurate records, tracking case progression, and providing a professional and responsive service to stakeholders across the organisation.
What You'll Be Doing
- Acting as the first point of contact for Employee Relations queries and directing cases appropriately.
- Supporting the administration of disciplinary, grievance, absence management, performance, capability, and flexible working cases.
- Maintaining accurate employee relations records and case management systems.
- Monitoring case progress and ensuring key deadlines and milestones are met.
- Preparing and issuing correspondence, including hearing invitations, outcome letters, and supporting documentation.
- Producing reports and management information relating to case volumes, trends, compliance, and service levels.
- Supporting the preparation of hearing packs, consultation documentation, and meeting materials.
- Conducting quality checks and audits to ensure case files meet governance and compliance standards.
- Maintaining ER trackers, dashboards, and databases to ensure information remains accurate and up to date.
- Coordinating meetings, hearings, and diary management activities where required.
- Providing administrative support for organisational change projects and wider people initiatives.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of ER processes, systems, and ways of working.
About You
We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused individual who enjoys working with processes and takes pride in delivering a high-quality service. You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in an HR, Employee Relations, HR Shared Services, or administrative support role.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records.
- An understanding of HR processes and employee relations procedures would be advantageous.
- The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with a range of stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- The ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a collaborative team.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and HR systems.
- Experience using case management systems, databases, or workflow management tools would be beneficial.
- A willingness to learn and develop knowledge of employment law, Employee Relations, and HR best practice.
