Based from either our Luton or Green Lane Office, we are looking for a highly motivated and technically minded Technical Product Owner to join our Digital & Commercial Platforms team.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting and developing Arriva UK's Contactless Electronic Ticket Machine (c ETM) platform and associated technologies that underpin our customer and operational experience.
Working closely with operational teams, suppliers, local authorities and central business functions, you will act as the subject matter expert and primary point of contact for all aspects of c ETM, ensuring systems, data and processes are effectively managed and continually improved.
What you'll be doing
Key responsibilities include
- Acting as the operational owner and subject matter expert for c ETM systems within the assigned operating company.
- Managing configuration, maintenance and operational readiness of ticketing and related technologies.
- Providing second-line support and managing incidents through to resolution.
- Monitoring system performance and ensuring service level agreements are achieved.
- Maintaining data quality and governance across fares, scheduling and operational information.
- Managing critical data feeds and ensuring timely uploads of service and fare changes.
- Supporting suppliers, local authorities and internal stakeholders with technical integrations and reporting.
- Delivering training and guidance to operational colleagues on system updates and developments.
- Creating and maintaining reports that support operational and commercial decision-making.

You will ideally have
- A strong understanding of bus operations, network design, ticketing systems and associated technologies.
- Experience working with transport-related data, systems and applications.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to work independently.
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- The confidence to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels, from frontline employees to senior leadership, suppliers and local authorities.
- A passion for delivering excellent customer and operational outcomes through technology and data quality.
