Whether it's getting children to school or commuters to work, you'll connect our customers to what matters to them by providing excellent customer service and making a real difference in communities. We're one team, moving forwards together to make travelling by bus the best choice for our customers.
You'll have a PCV licence, but don't worry if you've never driven a bus before. We'll provide all the training you need to get up to speed. For experienced PCV Drivers we offer an hourly rate of £17.00. We're offering full‑time opportunities with potential for overtime if you'd like to take additional hours. We're proud of our customer service and how we support our community. You'll get to know familiar faces and build relationships with your customers, brightening their day as they pop to shops or commute to work.
About you: You’ll be over 18 with at least 12 months driving experience, no more than 6 points on your licence, and a PCV licence. If you don’t already have your licence we are also recruiting for Trainees, so your application will still be considered. If you’re passionate about great customer service and want to help support your local communities, this is a role you’ll enjoy.
The role is shift‑based, so you’ll need to be prepared to work early, evenings and weekends.
Hours of Work: 5 out of 7 rotating shift patterns, planned up to 6‑8 weeks in advance so you can plan around shifts. Mornings starting from 04:00, afternoons from 12:00 and evenings from 18:00 on a rotational basis. We cannot offer fixed early, afternoon or evening schedules separately. Overtime available upon request / availability.
