As a Bus Driver, you will get to know the familiar faces on your routes, build relationships and even be the highlight of someone’s day. Pay Rate: £12.21 - £13.36 per hour
- During Training (the first 4-6 weeks) - £12.21 per hour
- After Training: £13.36 per hour
- £14.45 after 6 months service
What’s in it for you?
- Full paid training where you will receive your PCV licence - you will go through our Arriva Training School and learn everything you need to know about being a Bus Driver. The training generally lasts approx. 4 weeks and will take place at our Telford depot, before you then work with a mentor for a further few weeks.

Hours of Work:
- 5 out of 7 rotating shift patterns, planned up to 6-8 weeks in advance so you can plan around shifts.
- Mornings starting from 05:30 and evenings finishing up to 00:10.
- Rota consists of a mix of Early, Middle and Late shifts.
- The main rota currently has 1 in 4 weekends off with every 1 in 6 weeks accommodating a long weekend which consists of Thursday to Sunday off.
- We cannot offer fixed early, afternoon or evenings separately.
- Overtime available at request / availability.
Requirements:
- Must be over 18 years of age
- Have been driving for a minimum of 6 months
- No more than 6 points on your licence
- Can pass a drug and alcohol test
- Great people and customer service skills
- Flexibility to work shifts
