The Business Analyst will play a critical role in delivering finance transformation enabled by Oracle Fusion. Working closely with the Business Architect, the role will focus on analysing, summarising and standardising end-to-end finance processes, ensuring alignment to strategic design principles and enabling effective implementation across the programme. This individual will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and delivery teams, driving clarity of requirements, challenging existing ways of working, and supporting the transition to optimised, standardised processes within Oracle Fusion.
Key Responsibilities- End-to-End Process Mapping: Map current (As-Is) and future (To-Be) finance processes across the enterprise. Identify and summarise gaps, inefficiencies and opportunities for simplification and automation. Ensure the end-to-end perspective is applied crossing functional and system boundaries. Produce high-quality process documentation (e.g. process flows, SIPOCs).
- Business Analysis & Requirements Definition: Elicit, analyse and document business requirements across finance functions (e.g. R2R, P2P, O2C). Translate business needs into clear functional and process requirements aligned to Oracle Fusion capabilities.
- Standardisation & Transformation: Challenge stakeholders constructively on non-standard processes and legacy ways of working. Advocate for adoption of Oracle Fusion standard functionality ('adopt not adapt' where appropriate). Support the definition and enforcement of the programme's global design principles. Drive consistency across business units while balancing local regulatory or operational needs.
- Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement: Analyse complex business problems and identify practical, scalable solutions. Facilitate workshops or interviews to resolve process, data, or system challenges.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with finance stakeholders, SMEs, and programme teams. Communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Provide constructive challenge while maintaining stakeholder alignment and trust.
- Programme Delivery Support: Support solution design, testing and implementation activities. Assist in defining test scenarios, acceptance criteria and business validation. Contribute to change impact assessments and business readiness activities. Provide ongoing support through deployment and hypercare phases.
- Essential: Proven experience as a Business Analyst in large-scale finance transformation programmes. Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion Financials (e.g. GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management). Strong ability to summarise findings, make recommendations and identify next steps. Demonstrated experience in end-to-end process mapping and redesign. Ability to challenge and influence stakeholders.
- Desirable: Experience supporting global process standardisation initiatives. Knowledge of finance operating models and shared service environments. Familiarity with data migration, governance, and reporting concepts. Exposure to change management and business readiness activities.
