PCV Bus Driver (Pay £16.85 – £17.87 per hour)

Progress your bus driving career with Arriva at our Tunbridge Wells depot, where you will be at the heart of the community. You will help commuters get to work, assist customers visiting shops, and transport children to school. Your reliability and friendly service make you the highlight of many passengers’ days.

Pay and Hours

• Pay: £16.85 per hour on weekdays; overtime at £17.87 per hour.• Overtime opportunities on extra shifts, bank holidays, and other occasions, all paid at a premium rate.• Hours of work: 5 out of 7 rotating shift patterns, planned up to 6‑8 weeks in advance.• Mornings start from 04:00, afternoons from 12:00, evenings from 18:00, on a rotational basis.• Overtime available at request or based on availability.

Responsibilities

Drive PCV vehicles safely and responsibly, ensuring all passengers reach their destinations. Maintain a welcoming environment, assist passengers as needed, and uphold the company’s high customer‑service standards.

Requirements

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Hold a PCV licence (or apply for the trainee role if you do not yet have one).
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• Pass a drug and alcohol test.
• Excellent people and customer‑service skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts.
