We are hiring experienced and Trainee Bus Drivers in Yorkshire!
As a Bus Driver with Arriva, you will be at the heart of your community. You will help commuters get to work, assist customers with shopping, and get children to school. You will meet familiar faces on your routes, build relationships, and be a valued part of people’s day. Bus Drivers are one of the most thanked jobs in the UK, and we are proud of our customer service and community support.

- Trainees: £12.60 per hour during training and mentoring (about 8 weeks)
- £13.20 per hour after 6 months probation
- £15.25 per hour after successful probation
- Experienced PCV Drivers: £13.20 per hour for first 6 months of probation (must have 1 year of PCV experience in last 5 years)
- £15.25 per hour after probation (must have 1 year PCV experience to move to higher rate)
- Perks: ongoing CPC training and paid PCV training for Trainees, opportunities to progress into management or Driver Training, Mydrive rewards up to £50 voucher

Work Hours
- Rotating shifts, 5 out of 7 days, scheduled in advance
- Mornings from 04:00, Afternoons from 12:00, Evenings from 18:00 on a rotational basis
- Overtime available on request
Requirements
- Experienced Drivers: Hold a valid PCV license
- Trainees: No license needed—we provide all training
- At least 6 months driving experience with no more than 6 points on your licence
- Pass a drug/alcohol test, flexible for shifts, and customer service oriented
