Our renowned red buses are a fleet to be proud of, with significant investment driving our ambition to fully electrify every vehicle by 2030. We support our community and are eager to welcome like-minded individuals to our team.Pay Rate:During Training (first 3 weeks): £13.15 per hourExperienced PCV Bus Drivers / After Training:First 12 months: £15.40/hr, increasing to £19.25/hr after 9pm12-24 months: £15.80/hr, increasing to £19.75/hr after 9pm24 months+: £17.00/hr, increasing to £21.25/hr after 9pmIf you hold a PCV license with over 12 months experience within the last 4 years, you will start at the 12-24 months rate.Pay rates are reviewed via frequent negotiations.What\’s in it for you?Full paid training leading to your PCV license, including learning at our Arriva Training School and mentoring post-training.Overtime opportunities at premium rates for extra shifts and bank holidays.Free travel on TfL and Arriva services for you and a household nominee.25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays.Pension contributions, Employee Assistance Programme, Road Safety Scheme with vouchers, ongoing CPC training, and career development opportunities into management or specialist roles.Hours of Work:Rotating shifts planned 6-8 weeks in advance, including mornings from 04:00, afternoons from 12:00, and evenings from 18:00.Overtime available upon request.Requirements:Over 18 years old.Minimum 6 months driving experience with your license (for Trainees).PCV license (for experienced drivers).No more than 6 points on your license.Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test.Excellent customer service skills and flexibility to work shifts.At Arriva, we promote inclusion and diversity, bringing everyone together to serve our community.
