Overview
Are you a qualified PCV Bus Driver looking for greater flexibility around your lifestyle, family commitments, studies, retirement plans, or other employment? Arriva is exploring flexible working opportunities for qualified drivers at our North East depots. This campaign aims to understand demand for part‑time driving roles and shape future opportunities. Whether you want a few shifts each week, weekend work, evenings, or daytime reduced hours, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Be Asked During Your Application
- Number of hours per week you could reliably work
- Two example weekly shift patterns you can commit to, each totaling your requested weekly hours
Pay Rates
- Qualified drivers with at least 18 months of bus driving experience within the last five years:
- Weekdays: £15.54 per hour
- Weekends: £15.84 per hour
- Bank Holidays: £40 bonus per shift
Drivers who do not meet the above experience criteria may start on a lower introductory rate in line with company policy.
