About the Role
Arriva is looking for a Trainee Bus Driver to work at our Wrexham depot.
You will be responsible for safely operating a bus, ensuring passengers are secure and welcoming, and delivering excellent customer service.
You will receive full CPC training and support from experienced staff to help you become a fully qualified driver.
- Salary and Hours
- First 3 weeks: £13.45 per hour.
- Monday to Saturday: £13.45 per hour, rising to £15.80 after 12 months.
- Sunday: £18.70 per hour, rising to £22.00 after 12 months.
- Bank holidays: £19.13 per hour, rising to £22.50 after 12 months.
- Shift Patterns
The role uses a 5‑out‑of‑7 rotating shift system with schedules planned 6‑8 weeks in advance.
Morning shifts start at 04:00, afternoon shifts at 12:00 and evening shifts at 18:00.
Overtime may be available on request.

Requirements
- Age 18 or older.
- At least 12 months of driving experience.
- Valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Pass a drug and alcohol test.
