Senior Business Analyst

What You Will Do

As a Business Analyst, you will be the involved in our Advisry and Technical Delivery work and will be involved in:

• Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Engage with stakeholders at all levels to elicit, document, and validate business and technical requirements, ensuring clarity and alignment across client and delivery teams.
• Solution Shaping: Translate business challenges into data-driven solutions, working with architects, engineers, and consultants to define approaches that deliver measurable business value.
• Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with client teams, from C-level executives to operational users, facilitating workshops and discussions that uncover opportunities and refine objectives.
• Documentation & Communication: Produce high-quality documentation, including business cases, process maps, and user stories, that guide delivery and maintain traceability from requirements through to outcomes.
• Continuous Improvement & Insights: Monitor delivery outcomes against business objectives, providing feedback loops into Arreoblue’s methodologies and helping clients maximise return on their data investments.

How You Will Do It

We follow a framework designed to accelerate value realisation, enabling our delivery teams to prove impact quickly. As a Business Analyst, you will:

• Create environments where clients feel confident their needs are understood and translated into achievable, data-driven outcomes.
• Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and proof-of-concept activities to build alignment and ensure stakeholder engagement.
• Work closely with technical experts within Arreoblue and with our partners (Microsoft, Databricks) to ensure solutions are both feasible and aligned with client objectives.
• Champion transparency and collaboration, ensuring that solutions meet real business needs rather than short-term fixes.

What We’re Looking For

• Data & Analytics Understanding: While you won’t be hands-on building solutions, you should have a strong understanding of how data platforms, analytics, and AI/ML capabilities drive business value. Familiarity with Microsoft’s Intelligent Data Platform stack (Azure Data Services, Fabric/Synapse) and Databricks is highly desirable.
• Business Analysis Expertise: Demonstrable experience in business analysis within complex enterprise environments. Strong capability in requirements elicitation, process modelling, and translating needs into actionable delivery items.
• Stakeholder & Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to engage with diverse stakeholders, facilitate workshops, and communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Mindset: Comfortable working with ambiguity, identifying root causes, and shaping pragmatic, value-driven solutions.
• Curiosity & Growth Mindset: An eagerness to stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in business analysis and data strategy.

Candidates must reside and be eligible to work in the UK. While we are a remote-first organisation, we value in-person collaboration. Any required client travel is fully covered by Arreoblue.

Interview Process

• Our interview process is designed to be a two-way conversation. Following an initial telephone screening call to ensure alignment, we’ll conduct two stages: a “General Competency” interview and a “Deep Dive.” You may also have the opportunity to meet some of the wider team during these phases if appropriate.
