We are seeking an experienced and design‑driven Senior Interior Designer to join our growing creative studio, leading the creation of visionary hospitality and restaurant environments across the UK. This is an opportunity for a commercially minded designer with strong leadership instincts – someone who thrives on developing concepts, inspiring teams and shaping exceptional customer experiences through design.
We are recognised specialists in garden centre restaurant design, creating hospitality destinations that blend dining, retail and lifestyle into immersive, memorable environments. Alongside our design studio, we are also specialist manufacturers, producing bespoke furniture, fittings and interior products in‑house. This unique combination allows us to take ideas from concept through to manufacture and installation, creating highly distinctive spaces with genuine originality.
As our studio grows, we are looking for someone ready to play a key role in shaping both projects and people.
The OpportunityYou’ll take ownership of exciting commercial projects from initial concept through to completion, while helping guide and support the wider design team. You will combine creativity with strategic thinking, balancing bold design ideas with commercial awareness and practical delivery. This role offers genuine scope to influence design direction, contribute to studio growth and develop into a broader leadership position.
The RoleYou will lead and contribute across the full design process:
- Driving concept creation and space planning
- Leading design presentations and client meetings
- Developing mood boards, storytelling and commercial design narratives
- Interior detailing and material specification
- Furniture, finishes and lighting selection
- Presentation visuals and technical drawing packages
- Coordination with suppliers, contractors and our in‑house manufacturing team
- Overseeing projects through delivery and installation
- Mentoring and supporting junior designers
- Contributing ideas that strengthen studio culture and creative standards
We’d love to hear from designers who bring:
- Significant experience within hospitality, restaurant or commercial interiors
- Strong conceptual and creative leadership skills
- Experience leading projects and confidently managing client relationships
- The ability to inspire, mentor and support others
- Commercial awareness and strategic thinking
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Strong technical and detailing capability
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite (SketchUp/Revit beneficial)
- A proactive, positive and collaborative approach
Experience or understanding of bespoke joinery, furniture design or manufacturing would be highly valued. Because we create many bespoke elements in‑house, an appreciation of materials, construction methods and technical detailing is particularly important.
The Type of Person Who Thrives HereYou’re someone who:
- Enjoys leading creatively while remaining highly collaborative
- Is inspired by restaurants, travel, architecture and lifestyle experiences
- Understands how hospitality design shapes customer behaviour and atmosphere
- Brings energy, positivity and ambition into a team
- Wants influence, responsibility and room to grow
Salary up to £42,000 depending on experience. Opportunity to lead exciting hospitality projects across the UK. Creative, supportive and highly collaborative studio environment.
