Location: Inverness-shire area
As a Class 1 Driver, you will:
- Use a refrigerated trailer with a tail lift to make multi drop milk cage deliveries to retail stores and collect empty cages.
- Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage using straps, nets, and other securing devices as needed.
- Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability.
- Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.
Requirements:
- Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
- Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Experience of refrigerated trailers is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
Salary: £159.90 per shift, £319.80 per week. For all hours worked between 21:00hrs & 04:00hrs, you will receive an additional £2.75 per hour.
Shift Hours: 05:00hrs - 15:00hrs, working Saturdays and Sundays only.
Overtime: May be available Monday - Friday, although this is not guaranteed.
Training: DCPC training during your employment, Monthly Courses for a variety of areas.
