Location: Shift: 4on 4off, Nights

Do you have a UK Class 1 CE Licence? As a Class 1 Shunter, you will:

  • Use a tug master for internal shunting within customer premises, ensuring load security, and adhering to site safety policies.
  • Load and unload trailers which consist of beer, empty kegs and cans.
  • Relocate loaded trailers from the loading bay to the designated trailer park area.
  • Handle local collections and deliveries as needed, using a curtain side or flatbed trailer, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Liaise with the transport office to provide updates on trailer status, safety checks, and load conditions.
  • Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.

Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence. Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card. Experience of flatbed trailers is preferred but not essential (full training provided). Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.

Competitive Salary: £16.42ph PLUS for all hours worked between 21:00hrs & 04:00hrs, you will receive an additional £2.75 per hour.

Shift Hours: 19:00hrs - 07:00hrs, on a 4on 4off rota. Overtime: Available and paid hourly.

Training: DCPC training during your employment, Monthly Courses for a variety of areas.
