About the Role
- As a Class 2 Driver, you will use a curtain side trailer to make multi drop collections and deliveries of pallets within the Pallet Network throughout Central Scotland. This will involve using a tail lift and pump trucks.
- Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage. Use straps, nets, and other securing devices as needed.
- Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability.
- Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Must hold a UK Class 2 C Licence.
- Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Experience of multi-drop preferred, but not essential.
- Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Confident, polite, and a team player.
- Good geographical knowledge.
- Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.
