About the Role

  • As a Class 2 Driver, you will use a curtain side trailer to make multi drop collections and deliveries of pallets within the Pallet Network throughout Central Scotland. This will involve using a tail lift and pump trucks.
  • Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage. Use straps, nets, and other securing devices as needed.
  • Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability.
  • Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Must hold a UK Class 2 C Licence.
  • Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
  • Experience of multi-drop preferred, but not essential.
  • Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
  • Confident, polite, and a team player.
  • Good geographical knowledge.
  • Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.
