About the Role
- Deliver/collect oil and gas equipment and other general goods within the local area on either a curtain side or flatbed trailer.
- Loading/unloading of vehicle, ensuring load security.
- Using a handheld PDA to complete paperwork.
- Planning route on a day to day basis.
- Keep in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers' expectations.
- Attend regular training sessions.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
- Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- ADR licence is preferred but not essential.
- Experience of flatbed trailers is preferred but not essential (full training provided).
- Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Confident, polite, and a team player.
- Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.
