As a Casual Driver, you will:
- Safely operate and utilise curtainsider vehicles to complete multi-drop delivery schedules.
- Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage.
- Ensure timely deliveries and collections, meeting our client's requirements and maintaining high standards.
- Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability.
- Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.
Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence or Class 2 C Licence. Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
Competitive Salary: Hourly rate of 17.20ph. This includes holiday pay.
Shift Hours: Monday to Friday - 07:00hrs start. Overtime: Available. Enhanced rates available for working weekends.
Training: DCPC training during your employment, Monthly Courses for a variety of areas.
