Do you have a UK Class 1 CE Licence? Join Our Team as a Relief Driver! Are you looking for a permanent, full-time role that offers variety, flexibility, and the chance to be part of a dynamic team? We have an exciting opportunity for you to become a key player in our logistics operations where you will be required to cover holiday/sickness, covering a wide range of collections and deliveries.

As a Class 1 Driver, you will:

  • Use a refrigerated tail lift trailer to carry out multidrop store deliveries around Aberdeen and Shire. This includes delivering milk cages returning empties in the Aberdeen area (involving tail-lift operation and manual handling).
  • Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage.
  • Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability.
  • Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.

This is a permanent full-time position to cover holiday and sickness. Therefore, a flexible approach is required as the position will involve covering both day and night work, including weekends as and when required.

Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence, current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card. Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.

Competitive Salary: £14.29ph for weekdays, £17.04ph for weekends. Shift Hours: Any 5 over 7, 05:00hrs start. Overtime: Available.

Training: DCPC training during your employment, monthly courses for a variety of areas.
