Location: Southern UK, below the M4 corridor (Plymouth, Exeter, Poole, Southampton, Worthing, Crawley, Salisbury and surrounding areas).

About the Role:

We’re looking for motivated individuals to join our Airworks team as Trainee Riggers. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be trained to work on critical broadcast and telecoms infrastructure across the UK. You’ll gain technical skills, industry knowledge, and be part of a team that keeps the country connected.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on broadcast antennas, telecom antennas, dishes, and combiner systems.
  • Respond to emergency faults and ensure rapid resolution.
  • Provide specialist advice within your area of expertise.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete inspection templates for asset owners.
  • Deliver efficient bundled activities to maximise team productivity.
  • Supervise third-party access to Arqiva sites.
  • Complete all learning and development requirements on time and to standard.
  • Engage in technical and on-the-job learning to build specialist knowledge.
  • Ensure a safe working environment in line with company policies and CDM regulations.
  • Maintain a strong customer focus in all tasks.
  • Support internal projects and contribute to business growth.
  • Uphold security standards to protect people, data, and assets.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and a consumer-focused mindset.
  • Be willing to travel and work weekends when required.
  • Develop skills to reduce unnecessary site visits and support a varied workload.
  • Promote continuous improvement and high performance.
