- Purpose
Manages key procurement category/ies to implement Arqiva sourcing strategies, ensuring our supplier portfolio aligns with business requirements and priorities and deliver optimal performance.

- Accountabilities
- Manages the structured analyses of supplier industry, economics, and market conditions for spend under management, ensuring awareness surrounding key market indicators, commodity trends, and market intelligence
- Manages the rigorous analysis of Arqiva supply chain performance metrics, trends and standards
- Business partner stakeholders to define future demand, shape the sourcing startegy and agree deliverables to ensure value creation / positive total cost of ownership
- Coaches and influences stakeholders to deliver procurement self-service operations, raising capabilities.
- Drive the supplier selection process through the formal RFP (request for proposal), RFO (request for quote) and RFI [request for information) processes
- Negotiate commercial and contract terms, mitigate group legal risks (GLR) manage contract approval and signature process
- Provides guidance to senior stakeholders of all RFx outcomes
- Ensures the standardisation of purchasing best practices, processes, and procedures, while staying abreast of industry trends and best-in-class behaviours
- Coordinates the implementation of strategies and process improvements for the Procurement function.
- Identifies savings opportunities, promotes opportunities to key stakeholders, executes and captures / reports savings.
- Drive delivery of annual third party cost savings targets, ensuring all initiatives are robust, validated, and aligned with LTP expectations.
- Implements supplier sustainability initiatives into shared services practices and sourcing strategies
- Ensure accurate payments in line with contract and manage cashflow in line with budgetary requirements.
- Lead the fostering of strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers.
- Develop and implement plans to realise supplier development strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Act as the escalation point between suppliers and internal stakeholders, in complex cases, contractual disputes or cases of significant non-performance.
- Oversee pan-supplier risk management frameworks and compliance monitoring.
- Champions, continuously develops and shares with team knowledge on emerging trends and changes in the field of commercial procurement.
- Implements ways to improve working processes within the area of commercial procurement, sourcing strategies and communication with suppliers.
