Job Description
Senior Delivery Management Professional
Plans, delivers, and monitors change initiatives, including project deliveries, using both waterfall and agile methodologies, ensuring improved effectiveness and efficiency within the technology function.
Location – Commutable distance to Winchester / London

The role
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and status reports.
- Identify and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Communicate project progress and key milestones to stakeholders and senior management.
- Ensure adherence to project management standards and methodologies, both waterfall and agile.
- Facilitate project meetings and workshops to gather requirements and ensure alignment.
- Monitor and track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
- Ensure projects align with the organisations strategic goals and objectives.
The person
- Project management – ability to manage one or multiple projects or project tasks and meet deadlines
- Project planning – ability to create project schedules, allocate resources, define milestones and track progress
- Risk management & QA – ability to identify and mitigate potential risks, and implement quality control processes
- Analytical and technical problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues
- Attention to detail – keen attention to detail in identifying defects and ensuring accuracy
- Time management – ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Communication skills – collaborate with cross-functional teams, present technical info and provide training or support
- Experienced in project management or a related role
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and software.
- Understanding of waterfall and agile methodologies
- Experience managing security projects could be advantageous
