Location: Travel required around Central Scotland
Total Package:
- Up to £34,000 base salary
- 5% Shift Allowance
- Paid Overtime
- Company vehicle
- Training provided to support City & Guilds certifications
Key Responsibilities:
- To respond to faults in a timely manner and complete corrective maintenance on a range of RF system networks to meet our Customer Service Level Agreements.
- Carrying out preventative maintenance in line with Arqiva standards, policies and procedures.
- Support upgrades and modifications to existing systems and networks following agreed instructions.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation and reporting of actions taken.
- Complete testing and measurements to ensure compliance with regulatory, industry and customer requirements.
- Engage with customers both internal and external and build positive working relationships.
- To undertake contractor supervision duties as required, including monitoring of contractors and their safe working practices, so that relevant standards are met.
- To actively participate in 24/7 365 callout response as per the scheduled rota.
- Always working safely, complying with current Health & Safety legislation and Arqiva policy.
- Available to work flexibly, both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness and ability to climb up to 60 Metres on Arqiva Structures.

- Complete all designated learning and development commitments associated with your role.
Required experience:
- Must have a Clean driving license.
- Experience with processes, standards and engineering practices related to corrective and preventative maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of networking principles.
- Knowledge and experience of fault finding and troubleshooting and the ability to communicate your findings within a team.
- Working knowledge of systems and equipment relevant to role such as RF systems, Digital Television, Analogue Radio, DAB, Microwave links, Satellite systems, Data Networks, Telecoms etc.
- Basic knowledge of RF principles.
- Working knowledge of the principles of power supplies, environmental controls, telemetry systems, analogue and digital electronics.
- Working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
- On a needs basis working away from home will be required.
- Ability to partake in the proactive development of new Technologies and Equipment.
- Takes ownership of own personal development to support business led opportunities.
