Overview
Project Manager – People & Change Delivery. Location: Commutable distance to Winchester / London.
Purpose
Manage the most complex P&C people projects or programmes, ensuring that people change is landed well and fairly and our colleagues\’ needs are placed at the heart of change.
Accountabilities
- Oversee people project or programme scoping, mobilisation and execution of workstreams, assuring overall project delivery against agreed objectives
- Implement HR delivery management governance on projects or programmes, ensuring that P&C policies, processes and controls are followed
- Act as custodians of the colleague experience on programmes/projects – provide expert people change management support and advice to workstreams; ensure that all projects land people change well and fairly
- Provide regular data, reporting and insight to Head of Delivery Management β People and Culture, CPO, PCLT and wider Arqiva as required
- Proactive risk management with close management of effective mitigations, escalating risks and issues in project governance where necessary supported by Head of Delivery Management β People and Culture
- Manage changes in scope, costs, resources, and timing within the framework of agreed governance and change control processes
- Assist with creation of detailed and accurate budgets and provide accurate forecasts monthly
- Take personal accountability for quality and accuracy of delivery management performance and deliverables
- Builds effective relationships across P&C, Arqiva business, to drive trust and respect
Skills
- Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- People change management and communication planning
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Financial and project planning expertise
- Strong understanding of project risk management, issue escalation processes and change management principles
- Proven ability to deliver projects in a timely manner, adhering to budget and stakeholder requirements
- Proven ability to develop, implement and run project governance frameworks and reporting structures
- Ability to translate business goals into clear project objectives and milestone
Knowledge & Experience
- Substantial experience managing medium, large and complex change.
- Experience of leading implementation of significant / complex HR & people changes, ideally within a unionised environment.
- Ideally, experience of introducing more agile ways of working to HR projects
Qualifications
A recognised project management qualification such as APM or Prince 2
