Job Description
Principal Product Manager – Broadcast & Streaming\\n\\nSelling the product vision and direction for all products and services within the portfolio, ensuring that product strategies align with business objectives, leading a team of product managers and owners to deliver successful products to market.\\n\\nLocation – Commutable distance to Winchester / London\\n\\nWe offer\\n\\n * Up to £90,000\\n\\n * 15% bonus\\n\\n * 5% pension contribution\\n\\n * Private Medical\\n\\n * 25 days annual leave\\n\\nThe role\\n\\n * Owns the roadmap, backlog, and prioritisation across one or more products or strategic product initiatives\\n\\n * Leads the product discovery and development process, from ideation to launch, through collaboration with relevant teams including Software Engineering, Architecture, Enablement, Operations, Marketing and other stakeholders\\n\\n * Defines and builds new capabilities and enhances existing products to drive the business forward to meet and exceed revenue and growth goals, whilst ensuring scale and flexibility\\n\\n * Offers mentorship and guidance to Product Owners, Product Managers and other team members in terms of best practices, strategic thinking, and professional development\\n\\n * Proactively coaches colleagues across Arqiva ensuring that Arqiva’s products, services and solutions are well understood and represented\\n\\n * Conducts market and customer research to identify emerging trends, customer needs and understand the competitive landscape\\n\\n * Anticipates and stays abreast of product and market trends and technologies\\n\\n * Uses data to identify opportunities, threats and inform product decisions\\n\\n * Establishes and defines success metrics and KPIs whilst driving a culture of data-centricity and taking action where necessary to improve product performance\\n\\n * Enables commercial opportunities through creative and innovative product solutions with effective cost and pricing models\\n\\n * Manages and influences stakeholders through compelling and concise storytelling and communication\\n\\nThe person\\n\\n * Expertise in customer and market analysis and strategic positioning of products to maximise market share and profitability\\n\\n * Strong financial acumen to manage budgets and forecast product performance\\n\\n * Hight proficiency in decision-making and prioritisation across complex and competing needs\\n\\n * Communicates clearly, concisely and appropriately to the audience\\n\\n * Ability to adapt and anticipate based upon changing market and customer needs\\n\\n * Curiosity: Remains in the problem space when others have jumped to solutions\\n\\n * Champions a culture of innovation and experimentation within product management, encouraging creative thinking and exploration of new ideas\\n\\n * Familiarity with budgeting business cases for the adoption of new technology as well as the launch of new products and services\\n\\nKnowledge & Experience\\n\\n * Extensive product management experience with a proven track record of partnering with engineering, sales, marketing and operations functions to launch large-scale products, with an understanding relevant product and technical frameworks, including standards, product lifecycle, data and insights\\n\\n * Demonstrated ability to innovate and deliver products that meet the needs of target markets\\n\\n * A demonstratable ability to collaborate and influence multiple partners, driving consensus and commitment\\n\\n * B2B experience preferred by not essential\\n\\nWhy join Arqiva?
