- Senior Engineer - Network & IP Telecoms -
- Purpose
Responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and troubleshooting Media telecommunications and data network connectivity systems and infrastructure.
This role ensures the efficient operation and maintenance of the network, supporting both current and future network requirements.
Location
Crawley Court (Winchester), Emley Moor (Huddersfield), Newman Street Chalfont -London
We operate a flexible, hybrid working environment – requirement to travel to either our Winchester or London office up to twice a week.

- Accountabilities
- Design, development and implementation of complex Telecoms & Nimbra network infrastructure to meet business requirements
- Deploy new network systems and features.
- Conduct advanced troubleshooting and maintenance of network systems.
- Document and report on network performance and issues.
- Configure and manage network equipment and protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network-related needs.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality guidelines.
- Participate in training and development programmes to enhance technical skills.
- Participate in project planning and execution, providing technical expertise.
- Maintain accurate records of network configurations and changes.
- Deliver and embrace a secure by design mindset.
- Act as an escalation point for troubleshooting from junior engineers.
Skills
- Network and Telecoms - knowledge of Telecoms and Nimbra network infrastructure and protocols
- Analytical and technical problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues
- Communication skills - collaborate with cross-functional teams, present technical info and provide training or support
- Attention to detail - keen attention to detail in identifying defects and ensuring accuracy

Qualifications
A degree or diploma (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field is advantageous.
