Location: We operate a flexible, hybrid working environment – flexibility to travel to either our Winchester or London office when required.

Plus, you’ll play a critical role in supporting the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and their leadership team, enabling effective decision‑making and operational efficiency across the Finance function.

The role:

  • Provides highly confidential, comprehensive support and personal assistance to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and their function, covering the full range of administrative and personal assistant functions.
  • Provides the full range of personal assistant functions for the CFO, including time, diary, inbox and travel management, research and preparation of agendas, correspondence, reports, presentations, policies, maintaining IT systems for optimising collaboration (e.g. Jira, SharePoint, e‑signature etc), board papers and other communication in line with meeting cycles and appropriate governance.
  • Undertakes a wide range of administrative tasks and assignments for the Finance function, requiring considerable use of judgement, personal initiative and discretion.
  • Acts as a link between the CFO, the CEO, the Executive Team and members of the Finance Leadership Team and wider business.
  • Identifies opportunities, recommends and implements constructive recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the CFO and the Finance Leadership Team.
  • Facilitates communications between the CFO, their Leadership Team and other internal and external key stakeholders.
  • Facilitates meetings and/or events as required including attendance at meetings, workshops, hospitality and communication, meeting schedules, preparation and issue of agendas and papers.
  • Provides occasional support for other Executive Team Members including support of company-wide events.
  • Arranges payment of invoices, expenses and approvals on behalf of the CFO and their Senior Leadership Team as required.
  • Supports the Finance function in ensuring adherence to established internal/external governance processes.
  • Supports the EA/PA professional network with cross functional support for diary management, agenda building, new starter requests where necessary.

  • Discretion – understands the importance of confidentiality and information security protocols.
  • Personal initiative – fast thinking, proactive and confident working unsupervised using own initiative.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Significant experience of providing the full range of personal assistant support for Executive level senior management, including evidence of improving effectiveness and efficiency of senior management.
  • Significant experience of Microsoft tools, production and proofreading of presentations and documents.
  • Experience of coaching and/or mentoring one or more Administrative Co‑ordinators.
