ARQ is seeking a Backend Engineer in the UK to design, build and maintain scalable backend systems powering our fintech products.

You will focus on greenfield development and improving existing services, delivering REST APIs and microservices that handle real-world financial workloads.

You will work with Java, Spring Boot and Postgres, practicing TDD and CI/CD, while collaborating across teams to ship high-quality features.

English communication is essential and 3-4 days in‑office.
