We’re looking for a Mid Android Engineer who’s hungry to grow and excited to build high-quality mobile experiences for millions of users. You’ll be contributing clean, maintainable Kotlin code and helping us deliver polished mobile experiences as we scale. You’ll join our Core Product Team as we double the size of our mobile team, helping to build and scale the ARQ experience – from our flagship Android app to new product lines like Premium, Stock Trading, Support Chat, and other financial products on the roadmap. Our goal is to build the best fintech app in Latin America, and our mobile engineers play a key role in making that happen every day.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Build and ship high-quality Android features across a broad range of product areas, from Support Chat to Stock Trading.
  • Write clean, maintainable Kotlin code using modern Android tools and frameworks.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Backend, and other Mobile engineers to deliver features end-to-end.
  • Own features from implementation through to launch, making sure they are reliable, polished, and ready for production.
  • Contribute to app quality across performance, stability, error states, crash handling, and UX polish.
  • Participate in code reviews and help maintain strong engineering standards.
  • Learn quickly, take ownership, and grow your impact as the mobile team scales.

What You’ll Need

  • 2–4 years of professional experience in Android development, ideally building consumer-facing apps.
  • Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Android Studio.
  • Good understanding of Android fundamentals, including app lifecycle, networking, storage, permissions, and performance.
  • Familiarity with modern Android tools and frameworks such as Jetpack, Coroutines, and Compose.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable code and follow professional software production routines.
  • Good understanding of app architecture and common patterns such as MVVM or MVI.
  • Strong product-quality mindset – you care about smooth UX, edge cases, device differences, reliability, and the overall user experience.
  • Ability to work independently, collaborate well with others, and learn quickly.
  • Good knowledge of Android from a user perspective – you know what makes an app feel intuitive, polished, and easy to use.

Why You’ll Love It Here

  • Competitive salary
  • Hybrid setup
  • Sign‑on stock options, so you own part of what you build
  • Discretionary performance bonus
  • The latest tools and technology
  • A growing mobile team with a high bar for product quality
