The QC Operative will perform critical operations checks in the manufacturing process. This is achieved by:

  • Execution of Production WIP control and Documentation
  • Execution of Goods Transfer & CCP Process Verification
  • Managing high-performing partnerships
  • An open dialogue with both clients and internal partners

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities (Job Duties and Tasks)

Technical

  • Traceability systems verification
  • Food safety systems verification including CCP’s
  • Line release processes including Ultrasnap swabs for line verification
  • HC GMP audits & GMP enforcer with hygiene and fabrication auditor
  • Golden sample, sensory tasting, product breakdown, and weight checks
  • Non Conformance & Corrective actions
  • Complaint RCA Root cause analysis
  • Production records assistant & filling
  • Implementation of policies, operating procedures, quality systems and programs
  • Participate in all regulatory, third party and customer audits and inspections, and corrective action response
  • Audit quality control of raw materials, packaging components, labels, and finished products to ensure compliance with established specifications and regulatory standards
  • Participate in internal audits
  • Respond to any management/customer/supplier queries quickly and effectively
  • Comply with all food hygiene requirements and company procedures
  • Comply with all health and safety requirements, following company policies and procedures

Administration

  • Analyse data or information identifying the underlying principles, reasons, or facts by breaking down information or data into separate parts
  • Organise, plan and prioritise work developing specific goals and plans to accomplish work
  • Record, store, or maintain information in written or electronic form

This is an extremely fast paced position within the company and you will interact with most company departments. Work hours are irregular and will be influenced by problems needing instant action. You will be working in a temperature-controlled environment. The following are expected from you:
