The Arora Group is seeking an accomplished Director of Sales & Events - Arora Hotels to lead commercial performance across our diverse hotel portfolio. This pivotal role drives revenue growth and market share by strategically overseeing all sales and events functions, both at the property and central levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire sales and events teams to deliver exceptional commercial results across corporate, transient, group, and event segments.
- Partner closely with Hotel General Managers and the Chief Commercial Officer to define and implement performance metrics, standards, and accountability frameworks.
- Foster strong internal and external relationships to maximise sales opportunities and enhance client engagement.
- Align sales and events strategies with brand initiatives from our franchise partners — Accor, IHG, Marriott, and Hilton.
- Collaborate with the Director of Revenue & Distribution and the Director of Marketing & Communications to execute a fully integrated commercial strategy.
- Champion a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the commercial function.
Candidate Profile
- Proven leadership experience in sales, events, or commercial strategy within a multi-brand hotel or hospitality environment.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to interpret market data and drive performance.
- Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated success in developing high-performing teams and achieving revenue targets.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
