Stock Assistant

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a key member of our team and a true ambassador of the Aroma-Zone brand, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient stock operations.

Supporting our in-store customer experience, team performance, and product availability, you'll be responsible for the receipt, organisation and replenishment of our stock, with a strong focus on precision, safety and service.

Deliveries & stock control

• Receive and check all deliveries to ensure accuracy and quality

• Log all deliveries and stock movements accurately using our internal systems

• support with stock takes and regular inventory checks

• Raise alerts for out of stock or low stock items

Stockroom organisation & replenishment

• Organise stock and ensure all products are safely stored and easy to access

• Maintain a tidy, safe and well-rounded stockroom environment at all time

Health, safety & sustainability

• Follow all procedures and health & safety guidelines to protect customers, colleagues, products and the store

• Wear the required uniform and safety accessories (e.g. safety shoes, gloves)

• Help manage recycling and waste responsibility, including sorting packaging and reducing environmental impact

Team work

• Contribute ideas for improving stockroom processes and store efficiency

• Help train and support new team members, where needed

• Respect scheduled shift times and communicate any changes in advance

• Uphold Aroma-Zone's values of care, responsibility and teamwork

Customer service & store support

• Deliver a friendly and helpful welcome to customers, and confidently direct them to the right team member

• Assist with occasional cashier duties, if required

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

• Practical knowledge and experience

• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail

• Comfortable using stockroom equipment and handling goods safely

• Able to read and interpret delivery notes and produc lists

• Confidently using stock systems and Excel

• Basic understanding of product categories (ideally in natural beauty and wellness)
