You’ll be working across on‑premises and cloud environments, supporting escalated issues from the service desk, assisting with infrastructure changes and projects, and helping to keep client systems running smoothly. This role offers exposure to a broad range of technologies, with support from senior engineers where needed.

What you’ll do

  • Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related infrastructure services.
  • Monitor system health and proactively respond to performance, capacity, and availability issues.
  • Oversee and test backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
  • Deploy, manage, and support Microsoft 365, Azure, and other cloud services.
  • Monitor, investigate, and respond to security threats, vulnerabilities, and breaches.
  • Provide technical support for service desk issues.
  • Troubleshoot incidents across networking, servers, applications, and security layers.
  • Maintain SLA compliance and deliver high‑quality customer service.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, and service delivery.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and share knowledge within the team.
  • Support a culture of quality, innovation, and customer focus.

  • Experience supporting infrastructure projects such as migrations, upgrades, and deployments.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients at all levels.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
  • High attention to detail with strong documentation skills.
  • A proactive team player with a willingness to learn and share knowledge.
  • Full UK driving license (onsite client visits are required).
