As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will engage directly with businesses to understand their IT, Cyber and Telecoms infrastructure needs. Your role will be crucial in identifying opportunities, building relationships, and opening doors for ARO Technology to become a trusted long‑term advisor to our clients. This Liverpool‑based role involves occasional travel to other offices for sales events and offers hands‑on exposure to Microsoft solutions, Dynamics 365, AI technologies like CoPilot, Network Transformation, IT Infrastructure, and Cyber Security services. We expect you to be ambitious, outgoing, and ready to develop a career in tech sales while making a real impact on businesses.

What You'll Do

  • Arrange meetings, demos or event attendance through calls, emails and LinkedIn.
  • Develop your client base through market research.
  • Achieve agreed KPI’s.
  • Build market knowledge through professional qualifications.
  • Build strong relationships with internal colleagues and external customers.
  • Prospect and generate leads through research, outbound calls and strategic outreach.
  • Engage with key decision‑makers and influencers to articulate the value of our Microsoft solutions and IT services.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our product offerings, including Modern Workplace, Dynamics 365, Network Transformation and other IT solutions.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of leads, contacts and opportunities in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with the sales team on account planning and execution, ensuring a seamless transition of qualified leads.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities and market developments to contribute valuable insights to the sales and marketing teams.
