We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our Specialist Data Services team in Liverpool. This role involves leading a diverse portfolio of networking and infrastructure projects for NHS and private sector clients. It is a hands-on, delivery-focused position managing multiple medium to large concurrent projects. Success depends on coordinating teams, communicating clearly with stakeholders, and delivering projects on time, within budget, and at agreed quality.
What You'll Do
- Lead the planning and delivery of new and existing technology projects within client environments.
- Coordinate project delivery through internal consultants and engineering teams.
- Manage project risks, issues and dependencies, ensuring proactive resolution.
- Allocate and optimise resources for efficient project delivery.
- Maintain clear, consistent communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Track project budgets, ensuring financial control and profitability.
- Produce and maintain high-quality project documentation.
- Oversee project planning, risk management and governance processes.
Requirements
Essential
- Proven track record of delivering multiple complex IT projects simultaneously to external clients, on time and within budget.
- Strong forecasting and planning capabilities.
- Solid understanding of project governance and the ability to adapt frameworks to client needs.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the full project lifecycle, adaptable across projects of varying size and complexity.
- Experience delivering projects involving compute, storage platforms, wide area networks, or managed IT services.
- PRINCE2 Practitioner certification.
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall & hybrid methodologies.
- Experience with Jira.
Desirable
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
