Overview
The role is a maternity cover contract to project manage business improvement and transformational activities across key ARO processes, including Prospect to Order and Service Management. The aim is to deliver the planned benefits, with enhancements that may involve platform and process optimisations or integrations of business areas not currently using group ARO platforms. The role ensures projects are delivered on time and to the required quality, with identified tasks managed and stakeholders engaged. The goal is for those affected by the project to view the transformation positively and to achieve business outcomes.
Note: This is a hybrid role with onsite requirement 3 days a week. You must be able to commute to the office and have your own transport.
What You’ll Do
- Initiation
- Completes project initiation planning and documentation defining and baselining: planned benefits, scope, deliverables/quality, milestones, schedule, cost, risk, resources, contingency and project communications.
- Conducts project kick-offs with stakeholder groups, clearly articulating key project elements.
- Obtains stakeholder approval and commitment on tasks.
- Ensures project documentation is maintained.
- Delivery
- Establishes and leads project teams with agreed roles and responsibilities.
- Delivers projects to contracted service levels, ensures customer satisfaction and stays within budget (where applicable).
- Monitors and documents project progress to ensure on-time delivery.
- Tracks and assesses project risk and formulates mitigating contingency plans.
- Develops, monitors, and updates project cash flow and financial forecasts (where applicable).
- Adheres to quality standards, reviews deliverables, and communicates variances.
- Manages major changes (scope) via change control with project sponsor approval.
- Identifies performance issues and addresses them in a timely manner.
- Communicates project status regularly to all stakeholders.
- Manages dates, operations, tasks, and scheduling in a project management tool (e.g., Monday.com).
- Manages vendor task integration (e.g., PoPx) and reviews vendor deliverables.
- Manages project-related financial processes, including purchase orders, invoicing, and budgeting (where applicable).
- Uses strong problem-solving and analytical skills across complex environments and cross-functional teams.
- Understands and follows business processes and standards.
- Defines stage boundary criteria (e.g., go/no-go) and completes stage boundary reviews with the team and stakeholders.

- Completes lessons learned and documents outcomes for future project rollouts.
Requirements
- Essential
- Delivery of projects impacting 50+ people.
- Strong project planning and management methodology; ability to plan, manage and deliver multiple projects concurrently.
- Ability to manage project relationships up to Executive level.
- 5+ years relevant project management experience.
- Proven track record delivering projects with high operational or strategic impact.
- Expertise using MS Office, MS Project or Monday.com.
- Solid understanding of project management concepts/methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PRINCE2 Agile, PMP).
- Understanding of relevant processes (e.g., ITIL, ServiceNow, CRM).
- Experience with business integration deliverables and risk/issue mitigation (e.g., customer communications, data, processes).
