Salary: From Β£50,000 + car allowance + OTE

About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Sales Account Manager to join our Cloud, Cyber and IT Business Unit.
As an Account Manager at ARO, you will play a key role in driving the success and growth of ARO by managing and nurturing regional key client relationships and developing new name business.
This position is vital to ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT solutions that meet and exceed client expectations. The role requires a proactive, client-focused approach, with a focus on building long-term partnerships and delivering exceptional service.
You will focus on ARO\’s core services, including cloud solutions, cyber security, hybrid cloud infrastructure, and next-gen networking, working closely with clients to understand their unique challenges and provide tailored solutions.
By leveraging industry knowledge and expertise, the Account Manager/Business Development Executive will position ARO as a trusted advisor and partner, helping clients achieve their business objectives.
In addition to client management, this role involves strategic planning and collaboration with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery. The Account Manager/Business Development Executive will be responsible for overseeing the entire sales process, from lead generation and proposal development to contract negotiation and project implementation. They will also monitor account performance, provide regular updates to senior management, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement whilst proactively building new business pipelines
Please note that this is a home based role with weekly national travel to customer meetings. You will also be required to collaborate with teams in other ARO offices.
A full UK driving license is essential for this role
What You\’ll Do
- Develop and implement comprehensive account plans to drive growth
- Maintain a high level of client satisfaction (targeting a 95% satisfaction rate)
- Drive revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new opportunities
- Continuously identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, understanding their IT needs, and ensuring requirements are met
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing concerns and ensuring client satisfaction
- Conduct regular satisfaction surveys and feedback sessions
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts
- Prepare and present proposals to clients, demonstrating the value of ARO\’s solutions
- Conduct research to identify business opportunities and stay informed on industry trends
- Develop proposals and presentations tailored to client needs

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client relationship building

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with high-profile clients and managing complex accounts
- Full UK driving license and ability to travel on a regular basis
- Knowledge of IT solutions, trends, and technology
- High level of forecasting efficiency
