Are you someone who takes pride in working behind the scenes to make things run smoothly? Do you enjoy physical, hands-on work where attention to detail really matters? We’re looking for a Loading Assistant to join our team and play a key role in ensuring our customers receive their orders complete, safe, and on time.
In this hands-on role, you’ll be working in Distribution, responsible for carefully loading our delivery vehicles with the next day’s orders, following clear guidelines to ensure every item is double-checked for quality and packed to prevent damage in transit. If you take pride in doing things right the first time and enjoy being part of a hardworking team, we’d love to meet you!
Work Pattern: Monday - Friday: 3:00pm - 00:00am
What You’ll Be Doing as a Warehouse Assistant:
- Loading delivery vehicles accurately according to the manifest and in the correct order
- Ensure all vehicles are loaded in a safe manner and that the product loaded is protected from damage while in transit
- Performing a double-check for quality and completeness of all items
- Reporting any missing or damaged items immediately
- Report on any missing items found in the warehouse
- Strapping and protecting goods with blue foam to prevent damage during transport
- Picking & Packaging Trim to fulfil customer orders
- Loading crates and containers, and assisting customers with their collections
- Working to a timed loading schedule to meet tight deadlines
- Communicating effectively with your team and supervisor
Who You Are:
- Reliable and flexible - able to adapt to different tasks
- Good communicator - verbal and written
- Calm under pressure with a positive attitude
- A real team player with a hands-on approach
Desirable But Not Essential:
- Previous experience working in Distribution
- Familiarity with logistics or order management systems
- 7.5tonne driver qualification
