Arnos Manor Hotel is a beautifully unique 73 bedroom hotel with a bustling bar, restaurant and adaptable meeting and event space for 200, all within a beautifully unique listed building. Being built in the 17th century, Arnos Manor has retained many of its original features and charming character.

The role of Hotel Refurbishment Technician is integral to the planned refurbishment to elevate a beautiful, listed building where we have some quirks but also a commitment to sustainability & solar - it’s a great opportunity to be part of something different.
Our Hotel Refurbishment Technician will have passion and commitment to quality and project delivery, taking ownership of their role and maintaining a positive focused attitude. The successful candidate needs to have demonstrable experience in tiling and the ability to plan and run projects. As Hotel Refurbishment Technician, you will ensure that all legislation is adhered to, and you will ensure compliance with all Health & Safety legislation.
Job Overview: To carry out high-quality wall and floor tiling works across guest bedrooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities, with a key focus on bathroom refurbishment projects. The role will work in partnership with our plumbing specialist on delivering the refurbishment of all of our hotel bathrooms. The role supports the hotel in maintaining exceptional presentation, safety, and guest standards.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in commercial or hospitality tiling works.
- Experience completing bathroom refurbishment projects.
- Good knowledge of waterproofing and preparation techniques.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- High attention to detail and quality standards.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexible approach to working hours to support hotel operations.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Wall & Floor Tiling preferred.
- CSCS card desirable.
