Arnos Manor Hotel is a beautifully unique 73 bedroom hotel with a bustling bar, restaurant and adaptable meeting and event space for 200, all within a listed building built in the 17th century. The hotel has retained many of its original features and charming character.

We are passionate about keeping our properties in great shape for our guests, and we would like to have a Hotel Refurbishment Technician that shares this passion. The role is integral to the planned refurbishment to elevate a beautiful, listed building with a commitment to sustainability and solar energy.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in plumbing and the ability to plan and run projects. As a Hotel Refurbishment Technician, you will ensure compliance with all Health & Safety legislation, including Fire & Legionnaires.

Job Overview: To provide plumbing support across the hotel estate, including reactive maintenance, planned preventative maintenance, and full bathroom refurbishment projects. This includes the removal and refitting of all plumbing fixtures and fittings such as baths, basins, toilets, showers, and taps. The role is responsible for ensuring hotel plumbing systems and guest facilities remain safe, compliant, and operational to a high standard.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Proven plumbing experience within commercial, hospitality, or residential settings.
  • Experience in bathroom refurbishment and installation projects.
  • Strong fault-finding and repair skills.
  • Knowledge of hot and cold-water systems, drainage, and sanitary systems.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise workloads.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to support hotel operations.
  • NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 Plumbing qualification or equivalent.
  • Unvented Hot Water qualification desirable.
  • Water Regulations qualification desirable.
