Site Assistant Apprentice in Arnold

Arnold Hill Spencer Academy is seeking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Site Assistant Apprentice to join our friendly and dedicated Site Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in site management, facilities, maintenance, or estates services. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will gain valuable practical skills and knowledge while contributing to the day-to-day operation of our busy academy. As a Site Assistant Apprentice, you will support the upkeep, maintenance and security of the academy buildings and grounds, helping to ensure that the learning environment remains safe, secure, clean and welcoming for all pupils, staff and visitors. What will you be doing?

• Assisting with the maintenance and general upkeep of academy buildings and grounds.
• Supporting health and safety checks and ensuring compliance with site procedures.
• Helping with the setting up of rooms and spaces for events, meetings and academy activities.
• Carrying out basic repairs and maintenance tasks under supervision.
• Assisting with site security, including opening and closing the academy where required.
• Supporting contractors and visitors on site.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation across the academy grounds.
  Has a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Is hardworking, reliable and takes pride in their work.
• Can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Has good communication and organisational skills.
• Is committed to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for our school community.
• Has an interest in building maintenance, facilities management, estates or site services.
