We are looking to hire a highly driven Compliance Graduate to join our team at our Hillington Head Office, in Glasgow.

Hours: Full time: Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pm

About The Role:

As a Compliance Graduate, you will be required to assist the Senior Compliance Officer in designing and carrying out compliance reviews, assessing the impact of changes to regulation, training Group staff and various other tasks as required. We’re looking for someone who is outgoing with an excellent ability to explain complex regulations in a clear and concise manner.

Day-to-day duties:

  • Reviewing various aspects of compliance with regulation across the Group
  • Monitoring and assessing the impact of changes to regulation and shaping the compliance agenda
  • Providing training to various departments throughout the Group
  • Liaising with the Customer Services, Training and Development, Internal Audit and Legal departments
  • Producing reports, management information and supporting documentation

This role will require occasional travel in the Glasgow area, and may evolve to requiring travel throughout Scotland, England and Wales.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with an ability to listen to what is being said and what isn't being said
  • An ability to understand and summarise complex information
  • Ability to use initiative and make informed decisions, while recognising when matters require escalation or further guidance
  • A good attention to detail
  • Knowledge of using Microsoft Office
  • A full clean driving licence

In this role, we will also train you towards achieving your recognised qualifications.
