We’re looking for experienced Nightshift MOT Testers to join our growing team.

Hours: Full time: Monday – Thursday 7.30pm – 7am

About the role: As an Arnold Clark MOT Tester, you will work to the highest standards according to the DVSA, carrying out repairs or replacing parts as needed. You’ll be able to follow procedures and instructions to a high standard with meticulous attention to detail, while working safely and efficiently both on your own and as part of a successful, professional team.

Day-to-day duties:

  • Carry out MOT tests in accordance with DVSA testing standards
  • Repair or replace broken or defective parts
  • Maintain equipment and make sure tools are in good condition
  • Follow checklists to ensure all procedures are completed correctly
  • Complete documentation to the required standard

Essential skills:

  • A full UK driving license
  • Certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance Level 3
  • Minimum of one year’s experience as an MOT Tester
  • A full and clean MOT record
  • Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
  • Ability to maintain equipment and tools
  • Ability to carry out procedures and checks to a high standard and complete paperwork accurately
  • Ability to work as a team player and on your own initiative
