Milton KeynesWe are looking for an experienced Commercial Vehicle Executive to join our team and help manage our accounts at our Activa site in Milton Keynes.We offer:33 days’ annual leaveGenerous employee discountsPrivate healthcareWorkplace pension…and much moreAbout the roleAs a Vehicle Executive, you will be responsible for providing product information, client consultative services, quotes, orders, and delivery lead time updates to our clients, while also liaising with third-party specialists.Day-to-day dutiesUnderstand the client’s requirements and guide which product will meet their needs.Deal with incoming customer/prospect enquiries by telephone and email.Adhere to Activa’s 15-second ring policy for answering all incoming calls.Dispatch contract renewal emails and assist with vehicle selection to ensure they are fit for purpose.Liaise with selected LCV suppliers to obtain vehicle supply costs, any specialist equipment and on-the-road pricing.Prepare vehicle quotations using our in-house system, making sure that correct discount levels have been applied and adhere to the client policy.Raise Activa proceed to order or tailored client order forms as relevant.Source and order vehicles and conversions with our internal and external suppliers and ensure they have appropriate purchase order documentation.Track vehicle orders.Liaise on lead times with second-stage build partners if appropriate.Liaise with Logistics team on final delivery to client.Manage the movement of vehicles from first location on to converter(s) and manage the project until the point of final delivery.Have an overview of any day-to-day or driver LCV concerns and escalate to Operations or Imps as required.In-life vehicle movement management, liaising with logistics and maintaining record of ‘pool/spare’ vehicles.Manage early termination or end of contract damage enquiries, liaising with Operations or Remarketing.Liaise closely with Activa area managers.Provide support and assistance as and when required by the Client Management team.Ensure suppliers adhere to agreed KPIs and escalate when required.Maintenance of CPs, cost centring and reallocation, liaising with Imps team.Analyse trends and work with area managers to evolve policies.Maintain/update new product library on a regular basis, ensuring that such data is provided to all relevant staff via in-house shared files.Act as an Activa ambassador on client/suppliers’ meetings and reviews.Essential skillsCourteous and professional at all timesA sound understanding and appreciation of customer service principles and practicesA strong working knowledge of IT with good experience of the Microsoft Office products, in particular working with Microsoft Excel and complex spreadsheetsAn individual who is focused, professional with the ability to work closely with colleagues and clients at all levels of seniority and supply partners in a sensitive and professional mannerTechnical vehicle experience would be an advantage, particularly from a manufacturer or dealership background together with knowledge of light commercial vehicles and DVSA/DVLA rulingsExcellent organisational and prioritisation skills with keen attention to detailAbility to learn effectively and follow through on projects, applying problem-solving techniquesThe desire to undertake continuous professional development and progress your own understanding of the sectorAn enthusiastic team player with the ability to work independently or within a teamPositive, enthusiastic, and flexible, with a can-do attitudeAbility to adapt to changing situations and work under pressureOur Culture
