Overview
We are recruiting an experienced Logistics Development Coach to join the team at GTG Wolverhampton. In this role you will manage the learner’s journey from induction to end‑point assessment, ensuring all training is delivered to a high standard and aligned with individual learning plans. You will conduct classroom teaching, one‑to‑one coaching in the workplace, and support mentors and employers throughout the programme.
Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for learners, mentors and employers throughout the programme of learning
- Deliver high‑quality classroom teaching and learning for apprenticeship and commercial courses
- Provide quality coaching, support and IAG to meet employer and learner needs, including coaching mentors to deliver appropriate training to apprentices
- Ensure workplace supervisors and mentors are familiar with the assessment, monitoring and off‑the‑job process and raise issues when necessary
- Identify and review barriers to learning and plan adaptations to meet learner needs
- Conduct learner milestone reviews that accurately capture progress against required skills, knowledge and behaviours
- Analyse data (learning targets, online modules, attendance, etc.) to assess performance and inform decisions
- Document the impact of all training in the learner’s off‑the‑job log
Qualifications
- LGV Category C and C+‑E licence
- Minimum of five years’ LGV driving experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Maths and English at an equivalent of Functional Skills Level 1 or above
- Knowledge of Smart Assessor
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
- Knowledge of the Apprenticeship Levy
- Apprenticeship Levvy Assessor qualification
