We're currently recruiting for a Facilities Maintenance Operative based at our GTG Training centre in Wolverhampton. You'll be working as part of a small, dedicated team with opportunities to learn and progress your career. The facilities team requires a mix of semi-skilled relevant experience or previous trade experience in the following areas.
Responsibilities
- Semi-skilled premises maintenance
- General building maintenance
- Carpentry or joinery
- Decorating
- Setting up function and meeting rooms to a high standard to give a fantastic first impression to our guests
- Maintaining the facility to ensure everything runs to a high standard
- Opening and locking up the centre in the evening
- Occasional evening and weekend work
- Ensuring all work is conducted in line with risk assessments
- Following relevant regulations (working at heights, COSHH and manual handling)
- Demonstrating enthusiasm, drive and motivation to go the extra mile to make events successful
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards and a sense of humour
