We are looking for a reliable Class 2 HGV Driver with a professional manner to join our team based in Stoke-on-Trent. This role will involve frequent travel across the UK with 4 nights away from home each week. We are looking for individuals who are self-motivated, able to communicate well with others, and able to interact with customers and staff in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

  • Loading and unloading cars onto the company’s car transporter.
  • Planning routes on a daily basis.
  • Communicating with customers and colleagues in a professional manner to ensure prompt delivery of vehicles.
  • Inspecting cars for damage prior to collection and delivery.
  • Maintaining the company’s high standards to ensure customers have a positive overall experience.

Qualifications

  • A Class 2 HGV driving qualification.
  • Good communication skills.
  • A team player.
  • A valid driving licence and a minimum of one year’s driving experience.

Nice to have (but not essential)

  • Previous car transport experience would be beneficial.
  • Previous experience of multi-drop deliveries in London would be beneficial.
