We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Driver/Valeter to join our Motorstore in Preston. As an Arnold Clark Driver/Valeter, you'll be responsible for ensuring all our vehicles are presented in the best possible condition. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in an active, physical role, has excellent attention to detail and is a fantastic team player.
Responsibilities
- Clean sold and stock vehicles to a high standard.
- Clean vehicles externally with a high-powered pressure washer.
- Use a high-powered vacuum to clean and shampoo vehicle interiors.
- Work with a polishing/buffing machine to enhance bodywork.
- Comply with health and safety procedures while working with chemicals.
- Ensure all equipment and machinery is properly maintained and secure at all times, reporting any defects and following manufacturers' instructions and PPE recommendations.
- Set timeframes and targets.
- Complete a daily record of work completed.
- Support branch operations as required.
Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Self-motivation with the ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Willingness to participate in training programmes.
- Valet experience preferred; training available for enthusiastic candidates.

Hours
Full time: Monday – Thursday 8:00 am – 5:30 pm, Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm and alternate Saturdays 8:00 am – 12:00 pm.
